The position is for a Content Writer based in Central Edinburgh, offering a flexible office-based role with hybrid working options.
It is a full-time, fixed-term contract for 6 months, with a strong possibility of extension or becoming permanent, and the salary is up to £40,000 plus benefits (pro-rata).
The successful candidate will be responsible for auditing, rewriting, and reviewing the firm's website and content to ensure high standards and consistency with the firm's expectations.
Candidates must have extensive experience in copywriting, preferably within a Legal or Professional Services firm, along with a strong understanding of SEO and excellent communication skills.
A relevant degree is preferred but not essential, and only applicants with the required skills and experience will be considered for this role.

The role will initially be offered on a 6 month Fixed-Term basis with strong potential for the role to be extended or made permanent.The successful candidate will be responsible for auditing, rewriting and reviewing the firm's website and copy content across all areas of the firm, to ensure it is consistent with the firm's expectations and of the absolute highest standard.Duties involved in this role will include:* Auditing of all existing website & copy content* Working closely with SME's across the firm to rewrite content were required* Assessing & rewriting biographies for Senior staff across the firm* Ensuring that all content across the firm is in line with the firm's tone, values and is engaging, stands out against competitors & resonated with potential clientsIn order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:* Extensive previous experience in copywriting - this experience is ESSENTIAL (candidates with this experience within a Legal or Professional Services firm would be at a distinct advantage in this process)* Candidates with a relevant degree in the field would be preferred, although this is not essential* A strong understanding of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) * Impeccable attention to detail with the ability to produce grammatically flawless and polished content (preferably with a portfolio of content to share)* Excellent communication skills - both written & verbal - with the ability to deal with stakeholders at all levelsIf this is the role for you, apply now!Please note that only applicants who have the required skills and experience detailed above will be considered for this role.
