Position: Senior Care Assistant (Day or Night Shifts)
Compensation: £13.56 per hour
Hours:
- Day Shifts: 7 am - 7 pm, 3-4 shifts per week, including alternate weekends
- Night Shifts: 7 pm - 7 am, 3-4 shifts per week, including alternate weekends

Role Responsibilities
In this Senior Care Assistant role, you will lead and support a team to provide high-quality, resident-focused care. Key duties include:
- Promoting independence and dignity for residents in daily activities
- Leading shifts and ensuring smooth handovers
- Overseeing medication rounds and ensuring accurate documentation
- Supporting team members and addressing training needs
- Conducting regular one-on-one check-ins with staff
- Investigating complaints and upholding best practices
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or Registered Nurse)
- Minimum two years’ experience in a care home setting
- Strong understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding practices
- Ability to commute within 30 minutes of the location
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Two years’ experience in a senior care role, ideally in a dementia care setting
- NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care or similar
- Familiarity with National Care Standards
- Proven experience in team management
