What You will Do:

  • Manage a portfolio of varied clients, providing excellent accounting, tax, and advisory services, building strong relationships.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, VAT returns, and management accounts to ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for client decision-making.
  • Support clients with business growth and tax planning strategies.
  • Supervise, review and train junior staff, helping them fulfil their career potential.
  • Assist with HMRC compliance and liaise with clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance client services and practice efficiency.

What We are Looking For:

  • Experience: 3+ years in a small practice environment, with solid knowledge of UK tax regulations and accounting standards.
  • Qualifications: ACCA/ACA/AAT qualified (or equivalent, including qualification by experience).
  • Software Proficiency: Experienced with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, FreeAgent etc).
  • Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and a knack for building client relationships.
  • Attitude: A proactive, can-do mindset with a passion for helping clients grow.
