New role - my client is looking for an experienced and hands-on Financial Controller to lead a team of 9 and be responsible for timely management accounts, audit, VAT, weekly cash flow etc.

Description

Manage and mentor the finance team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Support the professional development of team members.

Review and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.

Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.

Support with the annual budgeting process, working with departmental heads.

Monitor, manage, and forecast the cash flow to ensure liquidity.

Oversee debt management

Act as the primary contact for external auditors and manage the audit process.

Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.

Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems.
