Job Title Event Operations Manager – High-End Hotel

Salary: £40,000 + Service Charge + Benefits

Location: Surrey

My client is a high-end hotel in Surrey who host who deliver a variety of events from Meetings, Private Dining and Exclusive Hires for high-profile guests. We are seeking an experienced events operations manager to join the team, working closely with other departments to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the planning and smooth operational delivery of events
  • Responsible for the review and action plan to improve delivery of events
  • Recruitment and training of full time and casual staff
  • Lead and manage event concepts through to delivery phase and budget reconciliation
  • Managing external suppliers and contractors
  • Bring innovative solutions to the department
  • Ensure SOPs are in place and updated as and when required
  • Deliver outstanding customer events experience

The Ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience of managing events within a luxury hotel
  • Strong man management skills, ability to lead an engaged team
  • Solid knowledge of all relevant H&S legislations
  • Contract management and negotiation skills
  • Creative and able to think outside the box
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detailed understanding of budget management
