Secretariat Assistant
CantelloTayler Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Secretariat Assistant to join our client based in Egham.
The successful Secretariat Assistant will be responsible for:
- Ensuring executive committees and council meetings are prioritised
- Organise committee meetings
- Sending out papers and following up on actions
- Book meeting rooms and refreshments when needed
- Participate and support in organising events
- Act as first point of contact for general enquiries from council members
- Resolve general enquiries
The Secretariat Assistant will have:
- Proven secretarial or senior administration experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills including professionalism
- Experience working with confidential and sensitive issues
- A high level of organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage a variety of tasks at one time
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to to draft documents, correspondence and reports
- Excellent IT skills, including MS Office and an ability to learn new systems
- Data management skills
- Ability to pursue tasks, managing work flows and remaining calm under pressure
