Secretariat Assistant

CantelloTayler Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Secretariat Assistant to join our client based in Egham.

The successful Secretariat Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring executive committees and council meetings are prioritised
  • Organise committee meetings
  • Sending out papers and following up on actions
  • Book meeting rooms and refreshments when needed
  • Participate and support in organising events
  • Act as first point of contact for general enquiries from council members
  • Resolve general enquiries

The Secretariat Assistant will have:

  • Proven secretarial or senior administration experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including professionalism
  • Experience working with confidential and sensitive issues
  • A high level of organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage a variety of tasks at one time
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to to draft documents, correspondence and reports
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Office and an ability to learn new systems
  • Data management skills
  • Ability to pursue tasks, managing work flows and remaining calm under pressure
