Human Capital Partners are working with a rapidly growing property company to appoint a talented, qualified and experienced finance professional as their Group Finance Manager. Candidates will be ACA or ACCA qualified, having trained in Audit.

The company are funded through institutional investors which supports their continued growth strategy and fund new developments.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. Therefore, it is essential that the successful candidate is immediately available or available to start at short notice.

My client offers hybrid working with one day in the office (Tuesday) and teh remainder working from home, should you wish.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager and closely with the wider finance team. The role is responsible for the following areas, but not limited to:

  • Full accountability for day to day and month end reporting
  • Invoice and maintain parent accounting for all management fees and shared costs
  • Ensure that Balance Sheet accounts are reconciled monthly, and any risks highlighted to the Group Financial Controller
  • Prepare monthly management accounts
  • Prepare statutory accounts and reporting packs and liaise with external auditors as required
  • Bank loan drawdowns and reporting
  • Arrange equity drawdowns
  • Assist forecasts and business plans as agreed with financial planning
  • Assist on special projects and provides ad hoc reports as needed

The Successful Candidate will possess:

  • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA
  • Experience in a top 10 audit firm
  • Adherence to deadlines, and the ability to work under the pressure of month end and year end deadlines
  • Attention to detail and strong financial control skills
  • Expertise using Microsoft excel (expected use of pivot tables, Vlookup, graphs etc)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience of UK GAAP / IFRS Joint Venture accounting
