Freightserve recruitment is seeking a Trainee Freight Clerk for a well-established Freight Forwarder located in Thorpe, Surrey.
The role involves handling exports from start to finish, completing customs entries, and providing customer service via telephone and email.
Candidates should possess a high level of accuracy, the ability to work under pressure, and be competent in commercial IT packages like Word and Excel.
The position requires good written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on being a diligent team player.
The job offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 0900 to 1730, with a competitive salary that reflects the required experience level.

Freightserve recruitment are looking for an Trainee Freight Clerk for a well-establised Freight Forwarder. The company is based in the Thorpe, Surrey area.

Responsibilities:-

Dealing with Exports (start to finish)
Completing customs entries
Customer Services (Telephone / E-mails)
Airline Bookings
Dealing with Collection and Deliveries

Experience:-

High level of accuracy with attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Ability to work effectively under own initiative.
Competent in commercial IT packages including Word, Excel, E-mail
Hard working, diligent with a flexible adaptable approach.
Good team player.
Good written and verbal communication skills

Hours are Monday - Friday 0900 - 1730
