Payroll Manager
Cantello Tayler Recruitment is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join their client based near Egham. The successful candidate will be a specialist on all payroll matters, manage a small team and be responsible for providing an efficient payroll service. This is an office-based role and full-time.
Payroll Manager duties include:
- Deliver an accurate, efficient and timely payroll service
- Understand each client’s requirements and expectations
- Build strong relationships with existing and potential clients
- Ensure that payrolls are compliant with current PAYE legislation
- Oversee the daily workflow of the team
- Lead and support the payroll team.
- Deliver excellent client service
- Continue to develop the growth of the department
- In-depth technical knowledge of UK PAYE legislation
- Experience of payroll processing, preferably in a multi-client environment
- Payroll year end and month end procedures
- Set up of new payrolls & mandatory PAYE documentation
- Resolving payroll queries
- Improving internal processes
- Payroll Software implementation
Payroll Manager required qualifications and skills:
- Previous Payroll Management experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Decisiveness, confidence, and flexibility to work with a diverse range of customers and colleagues
- Organised
- Professional
- Loyal
- MUST be a driver due to location
