Payroll Manager

Cantello Tayler Recruitment is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join their client based near Egham. The successful candidate will be a specialist on all payroll matters, manage a small team and be responsible for providing an efficient payroll service. This is an office-based role and full-time.

Payroll Manager duties include:

  • Deliver an accurate, efficient and timely payroll service
  • Understand each client’s requirements and expectations
  • Build strong relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Ensure that payrolls are compliant with current PAYE legislation
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the team
  • Lead and support the payroll team.
  • Deliver excellent client service
  • Continue to develop the growth of the department
  • In-depth technical knowledge of UK PAYE legislation
  • Experience of payroll processing, preferably in a multi-client environment
  • Payroll year end and month end procedures
  • Set up of new payrolls & mandatory PAYE documentation
  • Resolving payroll queries
  • Improving internal processes
  • Payroll Software implementation

Payroll Manager required qualifications and skills:

  • Previous Payroll Management experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Decisiveness, confidence, and flexibility to work with a diverse range of customers and colleagues
  • Organised
  • Professional
  • Loyal
  • MUST be a driver due to location
