Electrician required in Elgin. Call Adam on .Your new companyYou will be joining the existing trade team at one of the largest employers in the Moray area. Due to a change within the team, they are looking to add a street lighting electrician on a long-term contract. Your new roleAs a street lighting electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of street lighting systems across Moray. The work will be predominantly outside, with some requirement to work at height in line with LED bulb replacements. There will be a one week out of four on-call work pattern for emergencies.Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair street lighting and associated electrical systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections and testing of lighting systems.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults in street lighting circuits.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, keeping your contract manager up to date.

What you'll need to succeedWe are looking to speak to electricians with a background in maintenance and inspection & testing, ideally working within street lighting previously. You will need to be able to provide your up-to-date ECS qualification and show proof of a valid UK Driving licence with minimal endorsements. An IPAF qualification is desired but not essential. You should be comfortable working with members of the public. What you'll get in returnYou will be offered a very long-term position on a standard Monday to Friday work pattern.
