We are looking for anElectrical Project Engineerto join our global team working on high value CAPEX projects in the hygienic liquid process sector.


Day to Day:

  • Ensure both Briggs and Client Health & Safety standards are upheld across all business activities through supporting the Health, Safety & Quality Manager.
  • Be an active member of the Electrical Engineering team.
  • Be an active member of the electrical engineering dept mentoring and developing the graduate and apprentice electrical engineers
  • Act as a positive role model and provide leadership within the business ensuring professional standards are maintained.
  • Provide input to the Sales & Proposals team as and when required including development of technical and commercial solutions.
  • Management of quality, completeness, consistency and accuracy of deliverables necessary for the completion of assigned projects
  • Lead engineer on Projects responsible for all aspects from cost management, design/engineering deliverables, site supervision and commissioning.
  • Ensure progress, changes, costs, issues etc. are communicated to the Client regularly and appropriately, and to ensure that the Client is appropriately involved throughout the project.
  • Attendance at both UK and overseas project sites as agreed with your Line Manager/ Director to suit the needs and demands of projects.
  • Manage and develop positive Client relationship including Key Client Management
  • Liaison and assistance with the overall Briggs project team, Client team and third-party suppliers.
  • Management of electrical installation contracts on time and budget including tender preparation, negotiation, and award.
  • Management of project deliverables associated with the electrical works.
