Kenton Black are partnered with distillery in Inverness who are seeking a dedicated Junior Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical engineering, preferably in the hygienic process industries such as brewing, distilling, food processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or health and beauty products. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a thriving industry and continue to grow your expertise.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist with the design, development, and maintenance of electrical systems and components within the hygienic process industries.
- Implement and troubleshoot analogue process instrumentation and Variable Speed Drives (VSDs).
- Work with digital instrumentation and PLC hardware, understanding their application within the industry.
- Assist senior engineering staff with project planning, documentation, and execution.
- Ensure all electrical engineering projects are compliant with industry standards and health and safety regulations.
**Qualifications:**
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification such as HND/HNC.
- A minimum of three years of experience in an engineering role, preferably within the specified industries but not essential.
- A member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET), or prepared to work towards gaining professional status such as Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or Chartered Engineer (CEng).
