A growing and well-established business in Halifax is looking for a Finance Assistant to join its team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in finance, with exposure to a variety of month-end processes and the chance to work closely with an experienced Financial Controller.Key Responsibilities:

Managing the sales ledger, ensuring accurate invoicing and timely payments
Assisting with month-end analysis and reporting
Supporting the Financial Controller with month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations
Helping to maintain accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with internal controls

About You:

Previous experience in a finance role, with exposure to sales ledger and month-end tasks
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Good Excel skills and the ability to work with financial data
AAT qualification (or working towards) would be beneficial but not essential
