Key Responsibilities:
- Reactive Maintenance: Swiftly diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions to minimise downtime.
- Preventative Maintenance: Implementing routine inspections and repairs to prevent issues before they arise.
- Site Maintenance: Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment across all areas of the facility.
- Planned Maintenance Schedules: Developing and executing structured maintenance plans for optimal equipment performance.
- Repair and Breakdown Management: Coordinating necessary repairs, managing unexpected breakdowns, and liaising with external contractors and suppliers to ensure seamless operations.
- Process Improvement: Continuously reviewing maintenance practices, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best practices for enhanced efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, ideally with a focus on mechanical systems in a manufacturing or production setting
- Familiarity with 18th Edition Electrical Regulations is advantageous, though not required
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Proactive, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
