NJR Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for leading firm of Independent Financial Planning firm based in the outskirts of Halifax who are looking to take on an ambitious Trainee Employee Benefits Consultant to join their thriving financial planning team.

Working your way from administration through to a client facing role this job will offer full development to a senior adviser position with an established bank of clients and is an amazing opportunity for anyone looking for a career in the corporate finance world!

Daily duties will be varied and could include:

  • Supporting existing consultants with administration tasks
  • Attending and assisting with client meetings
  • Preparing pre/post meeting paperwork
  • Helping with product research for reports
  • Developing relationships with clients

What we need from you

  • Previous experience in Corporate Financial Services or Employee Benefits is essential
  • Any knowledge of Group PMI, Group Risk or corporate schemes would be an advantage
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Strong communication skills

Please note, this is not a role in a HR team. It is a role for setting up and administering schemes on behalf of external clients. Those applying will need to demonstrate experience on this side of financial planning.
