Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a growing, Ellemsere Port based, specialist services organisation as they look to recruit an Assistant Accountant into the growing finance team.

Based in their offices in Ellesmere Port this role will follow a hybrid working model with the option to work 2 days per week from home.

This opportunity is ideal for an AAT/ACCA/CIMA studier looking for a positive business culture where they will be given opportunities for professional development and progression.

Job Duties:

  • Assisting with monthly Management Accounts Preparation
  • Providing analysis on revenue and costs and providing imput into commercial decisions
  • Assist with the production of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Working with key stakeholders in reviewing financial performance and provide reporting.
  • Suppoerting budget holders in tracking costs and revenue through maintenance and improvement of financial reporting
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Providing timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations
  • Provide further to support to the finance team and ther wider business in continuous process improvements

Ideal experience

  • AAT / ACCA / CIMA studier
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Excellent time management and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to work with stakeholders across all levels of the business
