Our client is one of the UK leading utility suppliers, servicing a large number of customers in England, Scotland & Wales.
We are currently recruiting a skilled LPG Installation Engineer to support our Projects Team, Nationally, primarily focusing on the North of England. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and be proficient in various technical tools and software.
Due to the nature of the role, applicants must have a full UK driving license.
Company vehicle is provided.
As the LPG Installation Engineer, your duties will include;
- Installing, exchanging, and uplifting LPG vessels
- Conducting periodic testing of LPG vessels
- Conducting annual visual inspections of LPG vessels
- Attending emergency call outs
- Loading and unloading LPG vessels
- Completing service works on LPG installations
- Collaborate with teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues.
As the successful LPG Installation Engineer, you will have the following skills/experience;
- Gas safe registered to ACS level in Domestic Core LPG Safety PO and HR level, Vess 1 and Electro Fusion Jointing and Vess 2 and Gas or LPG Metres; or
- Gas Safe Registered and hold CCLP1EPC (LPG External Pipework) and TPCP1 (Non-Domestic Testing and Purging) categories.
- A detailed knowledge of Liquid Gas UK Codes of Practice and DSEAR
- Confidence making decisions in technical scenarios.
- Strong understanding of process and instrumentation diagrams and schematics
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
- A 'safety first' approach to all daily responsibilities
- A full clean driving licence
