We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Site Maintenance Officer to join our team on a permanent 30hr/ week basis.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring a welcoming and well-maintained environment for all occupants and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify and address any maintenance issues.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed and report any hazards or security concerns.
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down rooms for events and meetings.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and request replenishments as needed.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the facility.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects when necessary.

Anyone successful for the role will need to be happy to pass through our screening and security process to ensure that you have the right to work in a school.

An enhance DBS and Driving licence are required.
