We are seeking an experienced Working Foreman with a strong background in joinery to lead and manage a team on a 12-month internal refurbishment project focused on residential housing in Flint. Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and leading a team on various internal refurbishment tasks for housing projects.

  • Conducting joinery work and supervising others in carpentry tasks as needed.
  • Ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.
  • Maintaining health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Collaborating closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Working Foreman, with a strong focus on joinery and carpentry.
  • Hands-on experience in residential refurbishment projects.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations, particularly those related to residential properties.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently or leading a team effectively.
  • Must have a valid CSCS card and own tools.
