Finance Analyst - Temp to Perm - Chester

We are currently supporting a fast-growing, private equity-backed business in their search for a Finance Analyst to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, supporting core budgeting, forecasting, and commercial analysis processes.

The Role:

As a Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in driving financial insights, managing rolling forecasts, and ensuring data integrity within financial systems. Working closely with the Financial Controller and CFO, you'll contribute to the strategic financial direction of the business while supporting system improvements and analytical processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing the annual budget process and developing rolling forecasts
  • Analysing month-end sales and project results for consistency and accuracy
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports and sales analysis
  • Reviewing investment proposals and forecasting operational and investment cashflows
  • Identifying and resolving data inconsistencies within financial systems
  • Supporting financial system implementations and data architecture improvements
What We're Looking For:
  • Qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or relevant experience
  • Strong experience in financial and commercial data analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills, with experience in Power BI and dashboard creation
  • An investigative mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders
