As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons, providing one-to-one support to students, and assisting with classroom management. You will be a vital part of the school's educational team, supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students across various key stages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Classroom Instruction: Assist teachers in delivering dynamic lessons tailored to the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Individual & Group Support: Provide focused support for students requiring additional help, ensuring they meet their academic and personal goals.
  • Differentiated Learning: Adapt lesson content and activities to cater to individual learning needs, ensuring all students can access and succeed in the curriculum.
  • Behavioural Support: Help create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment by supporting students with emotional or behavioural challenges.
  • Monitoring Progress: Assist in the tracking and assessment of student progress, ensuring learning objectives are met.
  • Safeguarding & Wellbeing: Contribute to the school's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A clear DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).

  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience supporting students with special educational needs (SEN).
