Job Overview:

Do you have industrial maintenance experience?  Do have experience working in a COMAH environment?

Our client is seeking an EC&I Technician for a minimum of 6 months work at a chemical site in Ellesmere Port to respond to planned and reactive maintenance of equipment.

 

You will be required to:

Support the Manufacturing group with a high level of expertise to maintain assets safely and contribute to production targets to being met.  To undertake all routines necessary to maintain the asset reliability and to ensure conformance with all statutory, mandatory and regulatory bodies.

  • Install repair and maintain power, lighting, communications and control systems.
  • Test, calibrate, install, repair and inspect monitoring and control devices.
  • Fault finding on equipment up to 415v.
  • Diagnose and trouble shoot process control software issues.
  • Test and calibrate spring loaded safety valves.
  • Test safety equipment and interlocks
  • Conform to appropriate 18th Edition IEE wiring regulations regarding installation of equipment.
  • Managing and working to current legislation with high hazard substances including asbestos and lead.

 

You must have:

 

  • Industrial maintenance experience
  • Experience working in a COMAH environment

 

Ideally you will have:

 

  • BTEC (HNC), City & Guilds or NVQ (level 3) or equivalent in relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years post apprenticeship experience preferably working on a Top Tier COMAH site.
  • CompEx trained.

 

Rates of Pay: This role is in-scope of IR35 so we can only offer PAYE or Umbrella pay models
