Randstad Education are currently recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant for a long-term opportunity based in an SEN schools in Cheshire West. The role is based in a supportive school setting that encourages pupils to overcome barriers to learning and reach their potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils with SEN.
  • Understanding the needs of each pupil and how best to support them in the classroom.
  • Working with the class teacher to feedback progress and work together to provide the best support possible.
  • Helping out during lunch and break times.
  • Following the school's behaviour management policy.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN
  • Strong English and Maths skills
  • Enhanced Child DBS (or willingness to apply)
