Full-Time - Permanent

Hours: Monday to Thursday Office Hours / Early finish Fridays. 

Basic Salary: £40,000.00 to £50,000.00 Per Annum plus Bonus and benefits

Location: Coalville

Our very well established, multimillion pound turnover client, is looking for a highly dynamic and enthusiastic Operations Manager to join their leadership team as an Operations Manager and take full ownership of the safety, coordination, and effective running of the operation. As an Operations Manager, you will act as the core point of contact for the business unit and take the operation under your wing. You will need to have an upbeat and confident character, who can handle working under pressure and have excellent time management & accountability skills.

Operations Manager Role:

  • Management of ISO9001:2015 QMS accreditation including Management Review documentation
  • Develop and maintain processes and procedures such as training matrix
  • Coordination of internal and external audits.
  • Conduct Personal Development Discussions and set targets accordingly
  • Maintain Training and development in line with company strategy as a Operations Manager
  • Act as a key player in conducting supply chain meetings with a innovative mindset
  • Manage a small team and support accordingly on a daily basis  
  • Put together sales quotes and tenders to maximise revenue
  • Monthly forecasting as a Operations Manager
  • Submission of tenders within the private and public sectors.
    • Introduce new ideas to improve operations as a Operations Manager
    • Maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors
    • Be highly flexible in undertaking additional duties with a hands on approach as and when required as an Operations Manager

Operations Manager Candidate:

  • Previous extensive experience as a Supply Chain Manager or, Operations Manager or, Senior Office Manager is ESSENTIAL
  • Experience in ISO9001
  • Highly competent and IT Literate with good level of knowledge with SAP system
  • Highly dynamic and outgoing personality with an innovative and ‘think outside the box’ approach
