Production Operative – Night Shift
Location: Outskirts of Ely
Hours: Sunday to Thursday - 10pm to 6am (Night Shift)
Hourly Rate / Salary: £13.43
Benefits: Holiday Pay + Pension
Duration: Temp to Perm
We are looking for a dedicated Production Operative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating machinery, assembling products, performing quality inspections, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment. You should be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work efficiently within a team in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. A counterbalance forklift licence is desirable.

Job Duties:
- Maintain high standards of Health and Safety, hygiene, and housekeeping.
- Interpret and execute instructions from relevant specification sheets.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure adequate material quantities.
- Collaborate with the crew to efficiently set up jobs.
- Stack and prepare pallets for optimal palletisation presentation.
- Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks promptly and to a high standard.
- Assess manual handling and suggest improvements to the Machine Operator.
