This premium pub company is an awesome company to work for, the General Manager will oversee the overall operation of the gatro pub & kitchen, ensuring a high standard of service, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent food quality. This role requires strong leadership, operational management, and a keen understanding of both front-of-house and back-of-house activities. The General Manager will lead the team, drive sales, maintain budgets, and ensure a memorable experience for all guests

Job Description
As a General Manager you will be responsible for:
- All elements of profit and loss accounts
- Driving revenue through various sales and marketing tools
- Training & developing staff at all levels
- Cellar management
- Good understanding about food & drink
- Be commercially minded
- Planning, organising and coming up with creative working ideas
- Passionate about customer service
- Strong man management skills
- Be able to think on their feet and come up with conclusive ideas
- Identifying problems and reacting to resolve the issues
- Be able to deal with costs in line with sales
- Keeping up to date with licensing legislation, liaising with the authorities and taking overall legal responsibility for the premises
The Ideal candidate will be:
- Experienced in a similar gastro pub & background at General Manager level
- Be able to work with teams of over 20+ staff
- Must come from a food led pub background
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, stock levels, and staff performance
- Must have some strong financial understanding
- Be able to work in a high demanding environment
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as sales, labor costs, and profit margins
- Able to instruct clear instructions to the senior management team and staff members
- Good understanding about quality food & drink
- Conduct regular team training to maintain high levels of customer service and product knowledge
- Must be flexible in working different shift patterns

- Be proactive and being able to think on their feet
