The Role
As Technical Manager, you will:
- Lead the technical team to ensure effective and efficient production processes.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, including HACCP, BRC, and other industry regulations.
- Work closely with production and quality teams to address any technical challenges and ensure smooth operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Lead investigations into any technical or quality issues, providing solutions and implementing corrective actions.
- Manage technical projects, including new product introductions and process upgrades.
The Candidate
The successful Technical Manager will have:
- Proven experience as a Technical Manager or in a similar technical leadership role within food manufacturing.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety, quality standards, and relevant regulations (e.g., HACCP, BRC).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, family-oriented working environment.
