Account Manager - Ely, Cambridgeshire - £35k + excellent benefits

Our client is a well-established organisation based in Ely, Cambridgeshire, due to continued growth and expansion they are now looking to recruit an experienced Account Manager to work within their export department.

The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and developing international sales accounts, commercially supporting Regional Sales Directors and Managers, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving revenue growth in global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account management of business partners; developing and maintain strong relationships with key international clients and distributors.
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor and report on account performance, sales metrics, and market trends.
  • Assist with new business opportunities in international markets.
  • Assist with the negotiation of contracts, pricing, and terms with international customers and distributors.
  • Support the international sales team with pricing, quotations, and contract negotiations.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential markets and assess competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to international markets.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to international customers and distributors.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in organising and participating in international trade shows, conferences, and business missions.

Skills Required:

  • Account Management/Sales experience - minimum 1 year
  • Ability to analyse and interrogate data to drive fact-based decision making.
  • Ability to think strategically as well as plan and execute successfully.
  • Comfortable with making impactful decisions and effectively prioritise value-adds to the end goals.
  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications.

Working Hours: Mon-Thurs 8.30-17.00 Fri 8.30-14.30
