Group Financial Controller

RECfinancial is exclusivelypartnering with a large Leicester based business within the fmcg / service sector in the appointment of a Group Financial Controller.The role is based at a smart office which is commutabledistance from all areas of Leicester / Leicestershire, Nottingham, Derby and the Coventry / Warwickshire area.Reportingto the Finance Director, the Group Financial Controller will take charge of a busy accounting functions day to day operations.The role will oversee the management & financial accounting, transactionalfinance, working capital management, internal controls and statutoryreporting for the group.The role will lead a sizable team and has 6 direct reports.The business is keen to hire a candidate who is qualified in either the CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification and it's likelythat you will be in a Finance Manager or Financial Controller type role. Yourexperience will cover both Management & Financial accounting and you will be comfortable working up to board level in the business.They are keen to hire a passionateleader with a key focus on best practice and optimising processes. You will feel comfortablepartnering with the SLT, driving financial awarenessacross the business and influencingprofit improvements and efficiencies.The business is in a really exciting stage of its growth and the role is a strategic hire for the business as it moves into its next growth stage.The role has a salary range of 70,000 to 80,000 plus benefits.
