Tradewind are seeking a strong and qualified EYFS Learning support assistant to work with a child with SEN needs on a 1:1 basis on behalf of a mainstream Primary school in the borough of Enfield. The school are looking to appoint an individual with a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and with prior experience supporting children with SEN needs.
About the role:
- Support a pupil with SEN needs on a 1:1 basis
- Encourage social interaction and develop child's fine motor skills
- Plan and run intervention when necessary
- Support during break and lunch times
- Create stimulating learning resources to encourage academic progress
- Help to set up and tidy up at the start and end of lessons
Requirements:
- Early reading and phonics experience
- Experience working in the EYFS setting
- Strong subject knowledge
- Must have lots of initiative and a pro-active approach
- This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- You must have the legal right to work in the UK
