Our client is an industry-leading Compliance / Environmental outfit, with a growing presence in the South East of England. They are seeking a knowledgeable Fire Risk Assessor to cover contracts in a professional and efficient manner. Applicants would benefit from access to the M25, for easier travel to client sites across the South East. Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent technical knowledge and must be comfortable discussing in detail with clients. You will be covering sites across: Enfield, Harlow, Chelmsford, Billericay, Romford, Basildon, Ilford, St Albans, Watford, Harrow, Wembley, Slough, Luton, Dunstable, Aylesbury, Leighton Buzzard, Milton Keynes, Hitchin, Letchworth Garden City, Saffron Walden, Biggleswade, Southall, Wembley, Witham, Southend-on-Sea.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have experience undertaking thorough Fire Risk Assessments across a range of client sites
- Will be qualified with the NEBOSH Fire as a minimum
- It would be beneficial to hold further industry-related qualifications, such as: Fire Door Inspections and Fire Risk Assessment Levels
- Able to write comprehensive reports for clients
- Conversant in industry guidelines and keeping up-to-date with any changes
- IT literate
The Role:
- Undertaking Fire Risk Assessments on commercial, domestic and local authority client sites
- Writing detailed reports for clients, advising on found risks and recommendations
- Reviewing client's existing fire safety systems and equipment
- Meeting with clients on-site to discuss findings and answer any technical issues
- Creating bespoke emergency / evacuation plans for clients
- Presenting fire safety training to clients
- Representing the company in a professional manner when on-site
- Working in strict adherence to industry guidelines
