Position Overview:
We are hiring an experienced Shift Lead for our Enfield Data Centre. You will be responsible for managing data center operations during your shift, leading a team, maintaining uptime, and ensuring the highest standards of security and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage data center technicians and engineers on shift.
- Oversee the monitoring and maintenance of power, cooling, and network systems.
- Respond swiftly to operational issues, minimizing downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Enforce security protocols and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients and vendors, providing a high level of service.
- Keep accurate records of equipment, incidents, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure smooth communication and handovers between shifts.
Qualifications:
- Solid experience in data center operations.
- HV AP
- Demonstrated leadership ability in managing technical teams.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of data center industry standards, including ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI DSS.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
