The Role:- Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant.
- Salary: £80-£100 per day, based on experience.
- Location: Enfield, North London.
- Start Date: Immediate.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children's learning, emotional well-being, and social development, particularly those with SEN, SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs, and behavioural difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional learning needs.
- Work with children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and other special educational needs.
- Assist teachers in delivering differentiated lessons that support individual learning needs.
- Help implement behaviour management strategies and promote positive classroom engagement.
- Support speech & language interventions, social skills development, and sensory activities.
- A graduate with a degree in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, or a related field.
- Someone with a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN and additional needs.
- A proactive and patient approach to working in a busy school environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with pupils and staff.
- An interest in progressing to teacher training, educational psychology, or SEN support.
- Excellent SEN & Behaviour Support Training - Gain experience working with specialists in ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
- Pathway to Teaching & Psychology Careers - Develop key skills needed for PGCEs, Masters, or further study.
