Role Information:

  • To assist the teacher in raising achievement of all children
  • Be able to support children with learning, social and emotional needs in class, in small groups and on an individual basis
  • To support childrenā€™s learning and to share in the care and wellbeing of the children throughout the school

Candidates Requirements:

  • Hold relevant qualifications related to teaching and learning equivalent to NVQ level 2 or 3
  • Educated at GCSE Standard including Maths and English (Grade A-C) or a demonstrable level by test
  • Experience of supporting children with Special Educational Needs Training in relevant learning strategies or interventions e.g. Daily supported reading, catch up Maths
  • Hold a current First Aid qualification or willingness to engage in training
