The Role:
  • Position: Behaviour Mentor.
  • Salary: £80-£100 per day, based on experience.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work 1:1 or with small groups of pupils, supporting them to overcome challenges and achieve positive outcomes in their learning and personal development.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide focused 1:1 and small group interventions to pupils with behavioural needs.
  • Implement strategies to help pupils regulate emotions, build confidence, and engage with learning.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to develop and deliver tailored support plans.
  • Act as a positive role model, fostering trust and encouraging positive behaviours.
  • Monitor progress and adapt approaches to meet the evolving needs of each pupil.
What We're Looking For:
  • Previous experience as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar role, working with pupils with SEMH, ASD, or ADHD.
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting children.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A commitment to promoting inclusion and positive change.
  • Psychology graduates or those with a background in mental health are highly encouraged to apply.
