The role - HLTA - Enfield
- Assist teachers in planning lessons, including evaluating and adjusting lessons to meet students' needs.
- Provide cover for lessons while teachers are on PPA
- In the event of a teacher absence, we can also provide short-term cover within any age group.
- In accordance with school policy, provide verbal and written feedback to teachers and pupils regarding lesson content, pupil responses, and pupil behaviour.
- Motivate and progress pupils' learning
- Modify the methods to meet the needs of individual pupils and/or groups based on their responses to learning tasks.
- Promote and support the inclusion of all pupils, including those with specific needs
- Promote positive behaviour management in line with the school's policy and procedures to contribute to a purposeful learning environment and encourage cooperation among pupils.
- Support pupils in social and emotional well-being, reporting problems to the teacher as appropriate.
