Halcyon HSC are working exclusively with an independently run care provider that specialises in support for adults learning disabilities and complex needs seeking a Registered manager.

The service is small independent home that looks after adults with Learning disabilities, they are incredibly passionate about providing a person centred approach and ensuring the service is a home to the residents first and foremost. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Deputy looking for a step up to hold their first registration or indeed an experienced Registered manager who would like a small service, with complete autonomy on how the home is run. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the care home.
  • Ensure high standards of care are maintained.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage staff recruitment, training, and development.
  • Liaise with residents and their families to ensure their needs are met.
  • Work closely with the directors to grow and develop the business.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a Learning disability setting.
  • A relevant qualification in health and social care (NVQ Level 5 or equivalent).
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Knowledge of CQC regulations and standards. (Rating is currently "Good" with CQC)
  • A passion for providing high-quality care.
