Your Impact

As our Property Solicitor, you will:

  • Lead Property Legal Matters: Act as the principal legal advisor for a diverse commercial property portfolio—including land transactions, commercial leases, and licenses.
  • Tackle Unique Challenges: Navigate complex issues from fishery licenses and biodiversity agreements to encroachments and development projects.
  • Drive Innovative Projects: Contribute to exciting initiatives such as The Wave inland surfing project and enhance iconic venues like the VeloPark and White Water Centre.
  • Collaborate Widely: Work directly with our Head of Legal Services, statutory undertakers, external legal advisors, and partners like the Canal and Rivers Trust.

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor: With a strong background in property law, and the ability to find robust legal solutions to novel challenges.
  • Versatile Experience: Public sector or statutory framework experience is highly desirable, though candidates with relevant practice experience and the right attitude are equally welcome.
  • Passionate and Engaged: Enthusiastic about property law and the outdoors, and eager to make a tangible impact on both the legal and physical landscape.
