Are you a family legal secretary currently seekingfor your next opportunity? I am representing an established London law firm in their search in finding an experinced legal secretary to join their award-winning team.

This is a broad and varied role, requiring outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail.

About the firm:

  • A progressive firm which established in 1899
  • Multi-practice firm
  • Based in North London with headquarters being based in Enfield

The role:

  • Audio typing with Ideally 65words per minute
  • Dealing with correspondence and phone calls
  • Excellent client care skills
  • Proficient in the use of IT systems - good knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Opening files - ensuring ID checks are completed
  • Electronic filing of incoming post, emails and attachments (using case management system)
  • Familiarity with court bundles / preparing electronic versions (using Adobe PDF editor)
  • Printing WIP reports and ledgers (using case management system)
  • Drafting bills to clients and disbursement bills (Counsel fee notes etc)
  • Knowledge of HMCTS online portal (for applications/consent orders)
  • Opening new matters and preparing compliance documentation (client care letters, Smartsearch and AML docs)
  • Knowledge of Land Registry online portal/website (for office copy applications etc)
  • Knowledge of Oyez forms (Forms E, old divorce application etc)
