Our client is looking for a experienced transport manager with a can do attitude.

Duties/Requirements:

  • Monday to Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm
  • Salary from 45k - 48k
  • Good people management skills
  • Experienced CPC Manager
  • Good time management and planning skills
  • Ensuring Tachos are downloaded on a regular basis, in accordance with DVSA regulations
  • Proven experience in a transport or logistics management role is essential of at least 3 years
  • Manage daily transport operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods while optimizing costs of a Pallet Network delivery service
  • Comply with DVSA and H&S compliance at all time for 24 vehicles
  • Manage staff and driver performance, knowledge of ACAS process
  • All administration of keeping of files for the sole purpose of transport compliance
  • Entering all relevant data onto the fleet maintenance system ( R2C Software)
  • Supporting drivers with the tachograph entries and providing training and guidance with any infringement
  • Ensuring drivers are adhering to the rules and regulations of the UK Highways
  • Full responsibility for the maintenance, repairs and care of all vehicles and also yard MHE
  • Responsible for the supply chain that leads into the Transport Department
