A global defence and security company are looking for a skilled Electromechanical Engineer to join their team! In this role, you’ll work hands-on with advanced technology and high complex electromechanical products, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Assemble, test, and refine electromechanical equipment to uphold high-quality standards.
  • Follow detailed procedures, drawings, documents, change notes, schematics, and both verbal and written instructions.
  • Perform precise work and adjustments, including tasks such as soldering and desoldering, wiring and crimping, drilling, filing, cutting, reworking printed circuit assemblies, and applying mastics and adhesives, utilizing various necessary tools and equipment.
  • Inspect and verify the quality of your work and that of others, including proactive troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Contribute to the creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and related documentation.
  • Generate defect reports as needed.
  • Access, view, print, and enter information in the company's data management system.
  • Regularly audit company practices, procedures, and documentation to identify potential risks or weaknesses

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an engineering or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong analytical skills for problem-solving, with solid numeracy and literacy abilities.
  • Demonstrated proactive approach, excellent teamwork skills, and keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in PC use, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience in a cellular manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with radar technology is beneficial.
