Salary of the Plant Mechanic / Plant Fitter / Plant Technician / Mechanical Engineer / Electrical Mechanical Engineer: 35,000 - 40,000 basic, plus overtime

My client are looking for an experienced Plant Mechanic / Plant fitter engineer with a passion for keeping plant andconstruction equipment running and ready for customerto use.
As the Fitter you will be responsible for inspecting machinery and undertaking servicing as well as maintenance on the product range.

Basic Job Duties for the Plant Mechanic / Plant Fitter / Plant Technician / Mechanical Engineer / Electrical Mechanical Engineer:
- Service and maintenance of all company plant & machinery assets.
- Ensure timely repairs to minimise downtime.
- Dismantling and repairing or replacing fault components.
- Defect inspections and diagnostic reporting.
- Keeping the workshop clean and tidy.
- This list isn't exhaustive, and you may be called upon for additional duties as needed.
Required for the Plant Mechanic / Plant Fitter / Plant Technician / Mechanical Engineer / Electrical Mechanical Engineer:
- NVQ Level 2 , City & Guilds or equivalent and have previous experience in plant maintenance
- Experience in diagnostic and repairing plant, construction and lifting equipment
- Excel under pressure and meet deadlines
- Work under your own initiative and have strong organisational skills
- Manufacturer Training for industry products would be an advantage
- IPAF 3a, 3b or 1b certification would be an added benefit, but my client is happy to put you through training
