Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Community Support Worker for a Local Authority Client based in East London.

In this role, you will provide individualised support to clients in the community, empowering them to lead fulfilling lives through compassionate care and meaningful activities.

About the role:

You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:

  • Provide one-on-one support to individuals within the community.
  • Assist clients with personal care, daily living tasks, and emotional support.
  • Promote independence by encouraging clients to engage in social and recreational activities.
  • Regularly update care plans and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with family members, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.

About you:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

  • Proven experience in a support or caregiving role, ideally within a community or lone-working setting.
  • Background in working with individuals with diverse needs, including physical disabilities, mental health conditions, or learning disabilities
  • Experience in assisting clients with personal care and daily living activities.
  • Experience in documenting care provided, updating case notes, and maintaining accurate records.

What's on offer:

Salary: £14.80+ph

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Day Shift, 32.5 hours per week
