Do you have previous support work experience? Have you worked helping vulnerable clients in the past? I've got an exciting opportunity to join a Local Authority and work with an experienced team to help those in temporary housing! Your main role will be to link rough sleepers with the correct support and move them on into more suitable longer-term accommodation. This role will require you to work evenings and unsocialble hours.

Key Experience and Skills:

  • Experience carrying out comprehensive assessments and turning theses assessments into practical action plans suited to each individual.
  • Helping street homeless access long term, sustainable housing.
  • Appropriate IT skills dealing with reporting and filing systems.
  • Comfortable working at a fast pace in a public facing environment, requiring good communication skills.
  • An understanding of the relevant housing legislation, welfare benefit legislation and other matters relevant to support the moving on of our customers.
