Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Youth Worker for a Local Authority Client based in East London.

In this role, you will lead the organisation and promotion of the Enfield Youth Election, engaging young candidates, coordinating skill-building workshops, and driving community awareness both online and in local spaces.

About the role:

You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:

  • Organise and oversee the Enfield Youth Election process from start to finish.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive promotion strategy across online platforms, schools, and community spaces.
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard youth candidates, providing guidance and support throughout the election process.
  • Oversee the creation and publication of candidates' campaign materials, ensuring they are shared across social media, school channels, and community networks
  • Assist candidates in developing compelling manifestos and campaign videos to communicate their goals.

About you:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

  • Experience in organising and coordinating events, campaigns, or community projects, preferably with a focus on youth engagement.
  • Experience working with young people or community groups.
  • Familiarity with creating and managing content for online platforms, including video production, social media content, and basic graphic design.

What's on offer:

Salary: £16+ph

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 20:00 , 35 hours per week
