THE ROLE

As a Specialist Resettlement Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting individuals transitioning into appropriate housing and ensuring they receive the necessary care and assistance.

  • Conduct homelessness assessments and applications.
  • Provide housing and resettlement advice to service users.
  • Develop and implement personalised housing plans.
  • Liaise with external agencies, including social services and health professionals.
  • Attend multi-agency meetings to coordinate resettlement efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant housing legislation and safeguarding protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records and case notes.
  • Support service users in securing sustainable accommodation.
THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar resettlement or housing support role.

  • Strong knowledge of homelessness legislation and housing support frameworks.
  • Experience working with vulnerable individuals, particularly those leaving institutions.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with multi-agency partners.
  • Understanding of safeguarding best practices.
  • Strong case management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
THE CONTRACT
  • 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
  • 12-week contract with potential for extension or becoming permanent
  • £23.53 per hour LTD company rate / £20.06 per hour PAYE (inclusive of holiday).
