Specialist Resettlement CoordinatorEnfieldHomeless Move On Service12-Week Contract37 hours per week£23.53 LTD / £20.06 PAYE (inc. holiday)We are looking for a Specialist Resettlement Coordinator to support vulnerable individuals in Enfield's Extra Care Service, ensuring they receive appropriate housing and resettlement support.
THE ROLEAs a Specialist Resettlement Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting individuals transitioning into appropriate housing and ensuring they receive the necessary care and assistance.
- Conduct homelessness assessments and applications.
- Provide housing and resettlement advice to service users.
- Develop and implement personalised housing plans.
- Liaise with external agencies, including social services and health professionals.
- Attend multi-agency meetings to coordinate resettlement efforts.
- Ensure compliance with relevant housing legislation and safeguarding protocols.
- Maintain accurate records and case notes.
- Support service users in securing sustainable accommodation.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar resettlement or housing support role.
- Strong knowledge of homelessness legislation and housing support frameworks.
- Experience working with vulnerable individuals, particularly those leaving institutions.
- Ability to liaise effectively with multi-agency partners.
- Understanding of safeguarding best practices.
- Strong case management and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
- 12-week contract with potential for extension or becoming permanent
- £23.53 per hour LTD company rate / £20.06 per hour PAYE (inclusive of holiday).
