Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Start Date: ASAP
Daily Rate: GBP100 - GBP110 (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, ongoing
About the Role:
The successful candidate will:
Support students with a range of SEN needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
Work 1:1 and with small groups to ensure all students can access the curriculum.
Assist the class teacher with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting lessons to meet diverse needs.
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging student progress and independence.
Requirements:
Experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
