Job Title: Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teachers – Two Exciting Roles

Location: SEN School, Enfield, EN3

Salary: Main or Upper Pay Scale + SEN Allowance

Start Date: April 2025 (Easter half term)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Role One: SEMH Class Teacher

  • Responsible for teaching and supporting students with a range of social, emotional, and mental health needs. These students may face challenges related to behaviour, anxiety, depression, or trauma, and the teacher’s role is to create a safe and structured learning environment that helps these students engage and succeed academically and socially.

Role Two: ASD Class Teacher

  • Teaching students who have autism, providing tailored support to help them thrive in the classroom. This role involves creating a structured and supportive learning environment that accommodates the unique needs of students with autism. Adapting the curriculum and teaching strategies to enhance communication, social skills, and academic achievement while fostering independence and wellbeing.

A special school for children aged 3-16 years with social, emotional, mental health needs and / or social communication needs (Autism).
