Salary: £33,000 - £38,000 PA (Dependant on Experience)
Job Type: Full time, Permanent, Working Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30 (OT Available)

Highly regarded UK specialist coachbuilder: contracts include the manufacture and conversion of vehicles for the emergency services, command & control vehicles, hospitality trailers and mobile medical units (Breast Screening, MRI, CT, Heart Cath Lab, Chemotherapy, Retinal Clinics). 

Due to increased workloads, we are looking to recruit an experienced Mains-Electrician to join our team. We are looking for a reliable, conscientious, and hardworking individual. The successful candidate will be required to work on specialist vehicles including trailer based and transportable medical vehicles and Emergency Service mobile Command Units.

The successful candidate will have been time served, qualification to a minimum 17th Edition or NVQ equivalent, with previous experience in some aspects of the list of key responsibilities, not necessarily all.

Electrician – Key Responsibilities:

Working as part of a workshop-based team you will be involved in the following:

- 1st and 2nd fix of power/lighting/power distribution system

- Develop skills to do other wiring systems including fire alarms, security alarms and networking

- Fault finding and diagnosis

Electrician – You:

- Qualified to a minimum 17th Edition

- AM2 an advantage

- Experience working on specialist vehicles such as trailer-based and transportable medical vehicles and Emergency Service mobile Command Units an advantage

- A full driving licence is preferred, although not essential

Electrician – Benefits:

- Daily and weekend paid overtime available

- Provide training for any aspects of this role with which you are unfamiliar

- Internal and/or external training as required such as 18th Edition

- Provide a clean and safe working environment

- Supply all workwear and power tools
