• Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Assisting with the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns
• Supporting clients with VAT returns and bookkeeping tasks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records
• Liaising with clients to gather information, resolve queries, and provide advice
• Assisting with management accounts and forecasting for clients
• Supporting audit teams as required, contributing to the planning and execution of audit assignments
• Reviewing and mentoring the work of junior team members, helping them develop their skills

• AAT qualified or currently studying towards ACCA/ACA or equivalent
• At least 1-2 years of experience in an accountancy practice
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and an understanding of tax regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks, as well as Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• A proactive attitude and a keen willingness to learn and develop

• £28,000 to £38,000 per annum
